Lou Scheimer Birthday Presentation Cel (Filmation, c. 1970s). "Hey, hey hey! How come you don't look any older?" asks a white-haired, bearded Fat Albert, as very old versions of Archie, Jughead, Batman, Cosby Kids Russell and Bill, a hugging Spock and Captain Kirk (hilarious!), and Tarzan look on towards a huge vintage image of Filmation co-founder, Lou Scheimer (1928 - 2013). This loving tribute actually hung in the Filmation Studios office! The hand-painted cel and photo of Lou are matted, with an opening measuring 16" x 19.75", and framed with frosted glass for an overall size of 20" x 24". This one is for the ultimate Filmation fan! Very Good condition. From the Lou Scheimer/Filmation Studio Archives.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
