Description

Jay Ward Productions 22-Character Scene Cel (Jay Ward, c. 1970s-80s). Wow! For someone who can't decide which Jay Ward character to choose while shopping at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium, here's just the thing! On this original 12 field animation cel are hand-inked and hand-painted images of George of the Jungle; Super Chicken and Fred; Gidney and Cloyd, the Moon Men; Marigold and Tom Slick; green-skinned Snidely Whiplash, holding a mortgage paper; Nell Fenwick, Horse, and Dudley Do-Right; Bullwinkle (in red and orange); Fearless Leader (head and neck only); Ursula, George of the Jungle's companion; Fillmore the Bear blowing his bugle badly with Waldo P. Wigglesworth and Hoppity Hooper reacting to the noise; Rocky presenting Mr. Peabody and Sherman (with blond hair); plus Boris Badenov (lighting a bomb, naturally) and Natasha Fatale. What a line-up! All are in full-figure (except Fearless Leader) and the combined image measures 9" x 7". This magnificent piece represents an entire Jay Ward collection in one cel! This is one of the harder-to-find Scene cels, which were made exclusively for sale at the Emporium in Hollywood, in business from 1971 until 2005. The cel is in Very Good condition, slightly stuck to a backing sheet with minor handling wear.
