Description
Fonz and Scooby-Doo Publicity Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1981). This "mash-up" hand-painted 12 field cel of the Fonz getting his face licked by Scooby-Doo was created as a publicity piece to promote two shows - Fonz and the Happy Days Gang and The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show which also included Scrappy-Doo; both series were part of Hanna-Barbera Studio's 1980 Saturday morning lineup. There was some talk of a new series to star Fonz with Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, but that never made it past the planning stage. The cel is a vertical 12 field with a combined image size of 5.75" x 9"; the background is a suitably impressive print, added for presentation purposes. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
