Euro Disney - Mickey Mouse Publicity Cel Signed by Michael Eisner to Peter Schneider (Walt Disney, 1992). Here is a one-of-kind Euro Disney Grand Opening Mickey Mouse publicity cel in a frame signed by former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner to Peter Schneider, named president of Disney feature animation in 1992. Michael Eisner's note reads, "Thank you for the support of the animation company in the Euro Disney project! With thanks and appreciation, Michael Eisner." The note is dated 5/8/1992. Peter Schneider played a key role in revitalizing the animation division, ushering the department into what is widely known as the celebrated Disney Renaissance. This rare gem features a great image of the iconic Mickey Mouse and the Euro Disney logo, created for the theme park's grand opening on 4/12/1992. The cel is displayed on a stunning quality printed background and framed under Plexiglas. The frame has a mat window size of 8.75" x 11" and an overall frame size of 17.25" x 21". Frame is sold as-is. Well preserved, this must-have treasure is in Fine condition.From the Peter Schneider Collection, President of Disney Feature Animation (1986 - 1999).
