Description
Dumbo Presentation Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1980s). "The very things that held you down are gonna carry you up!" says Timothy Q. Mouse in the Walt Disney Feature Film Dumbo. This charming cel was likely used in the creation of a Dumbo storybook in the 1980s. This is an adorable image measuring 5.25" x 4" of the baby elephant that highlights his lovely blue eyes. The image is hand-painted and hand-inked on a trimmed cel. It has been placed on top of a color print background for presentation. The absolutely gorgeous image has spectacularly clean inking and painting, and it has been matted. The matboard aperture measures 6.5" x 4.5", and the total mat size is 10" x 8". The condition of this exquisite cel is Fine, with virtually no signs of wear on the image, though the cel has been trimmed in an irregular shape.Auction Info
