Dudley Do-Right Scene Cel Signed by Jay Ward and Bill Hurtz (Jay Ward, 1989). This original hand-inked, hand-painted scene cel captures the charming and recurring gag of Nell Fenwick, the beloved daughter of Inspector Fenwick and the constant object of Dudley Do-Right's affection. A staple of the series' humor, Nell's presence often inspires Dudley's earnest but comically misguided heroics. Rendered on 12-field acetate, this cel is particularly special as it is signed by key figures behind the production: directors Gerard Baldwin and Bill Hurtz, along with studio head Jay Ward. Their signatures add significant historical value to an already desirable piece from this classic animated property, which originated as a segment of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Scene cels of this type were produced and sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium on Sunset Boulevard between 1971 and 2005, as original 1960s production materials were often discarded. These later cels were hand-inked and painted by former Disney artist Helen Hanson. Framed to 22" x 18" and accompanied by a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity, the cel is in Very Good condition.
