Description
Dudley Do-Right Scene Cel (Jay Ward, 1990). Dudley saves the day and Horse get the credit in this original hand-inked and hand-painted scene cel of Dudley Do-Right, Nell Fenwick, Horse, and Snidely Whiplash. Due to most of the cels from the original show being thrown out following production in Mexico, Jay Ward had popular scenes recreated on animation cels and then sold them in his store, the Dudley Do-Right Emporium on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood from 1971 to 2005. The characters together measure 10" x 6.5" on a 12 field cel that bears a Jay Ward seal in the lower right and is dated 1990. It is in a mat measuring 18" x 14" with an opening of 11.5" x 9." window.
