Description
Centurions Promotional Title Cel (Ruby-Spears, 1988). This action/adventure series ran for two seasons, premiering on 4/7/1986, with 65 episodes produced by Ruby-Spears Enterprises and Nippon Sunrise Studio 7. Here's a very rare hand-painted vertical 12 field promotional cel created for a New York Toy Fair (there was a line of tie-in toys made by Kenner, as well as a DC comic book). The image area measures approximately 8.5" x 9" and appears to show some of the toys as they looked animated, along with Ace McCloud, Max Ray, and Jake Rockwell (cool name!). This rarely seen image is a must for those who remember the science-fiction Saturday morning program. The cel is backed with a Pantone color sheet. Cel condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
