    Description

Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears Publicity Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1944). Directed by Chuck Jones and written by Tedd Pierce, this was the first of Jones' "Three Bears" shorts. This is an outstanding hand-inked and hand-painted publicity cel of Bugs Bunny being seduced by the bears' carrot soup, which they intended to use to lure Goldilocks to their home, attracting Bugs instead. Beautiful 5" image. The cel is on a hand-painted custom background made for presentation purposes. This image can be seen at about the 3:07 mark. "March 1946" is inked on the cel, apparently to indicate a gift cel. Vintage cels from this era of Merrie Melodies are rare. Framed with a mat opening of 8" x 11". In Fine condition.
