Buckaroo Bugs Bugs Bunny and Red Hot Ryder Production Cels Group of 3 (Warner Brothers, 1944). "Uh oh! The 5:15!" exclaims Bugs as he hears an approaching train and checks his watch in this classic Bob Clampett-directed short. This cartoon was one of the few instances where Bugs is the bad guy, portraying carrot thief The Masked Marauder. Red Hot Ryder (of Brooklyn) is sent in to arrest the Marauder and restore justice to the San Fernando Alley. This is a collection of three original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cels from this beloved '40s Warner Brothers short. The first features Red Hot Ryder (a parody of Red Rider) who measures 5.5" x 3.5" and can be seen at the 4:39 mark. The second is Bugs who stands nearly 7" tall in full-figure and can be seen at the 3:54 mark. And the third is of Red on his horse jumping over a gulch at 6:10. It's an incredible group of production cels from an era where very few of this quality survive today. The 75-year-old cels have a few areas with minor paint loss. Condition is Very Good.
