Description
Blackstar Publicity Cel (Filmation, 1981) Reportedly inspired by the success of Thundarr the Barbarian, but with a twist: this hero is a stranded astronaut, originally from Earth! The cel features Blackstar, sword in hand, riding atop his loyal dragon, Warlock, over the logo of the show. This hand-painted cel would have been on display in public spaces at the Filmation Studios. There is a small Filmation sticker affixed to the bottom right corner of the piece.
