Description
Aladdin RARE Full Cast Presentation Cel (Walt Disney, 1992). "Group hug!" Exceedingly rare. This is a full-cast presentation cel featuring Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, Carpet, the Sultan, Rajah, and Genie wearing a Goofy hat. The 16 field cel was hand-inked and hand-painted at Walt Disney's famous Ink and Paint Department in Burbank. The cel is presented over a print of the original background. It was created for exhibits and a studio display. The background print is larger than 16 field at 20" x 14". Images like this one are rare due to contractual requirements involving voice talent. This impressive setup comes to auction from the private collection of Peter Schneider. Schneider is widely credited as one of the new studio heads at Disney in the late 1980s to usher in the Disney Renaissance, creating some of the most critically acclaimed and highest grossing animated films of all time.
