Description
Aladdin Jasmine and Aladdin RARE Presentation Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1992-93). "I'm sorry I lied to you about being a prince." The titular character, Aladdin says to Jasmine in this romantic key scene from Walt Disney's 31st animated feature film. This fantastic image can be seen near the 1:22:20 time mark following the big battle sequence between Aladdin and Jafar. This is a 16 field presentation cel hand-painted at Disney's world-famous Ink and Paint Department in Burbank. The cel contains a Disney seal in the lower right and is presented on a print background. The setup was created for a public exhibition. It comes to auction from the collection of Peter Schneider. Schneider was the first president of Feature Animation from 1985 to 1999 and was responsible for helping to turn the feature animation department around, creating some of the most critically acclaimed and highest grossing animated features that Disney released.
