Aladdin Genie, Aladdin and Jasmine Publicity/Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1992). This hit film of the Disney Renaissance was the top grossing feature film of 1992 and won two Academy Awards and a Grammy for Best Song. Offered in this lot is an original hand-painted publicity cel/color model likely created for a consumer product or promotional piece. The three character images are beautifully centered and straight from the Disney style guide. Together they measure 8" x 13" painted on clear acetate. No cels were used in the making of this hit film so artwork like this is about as close to a production cel as one can get. It is in an 18.5" x 22.5" frame under Plexiglas with a mat window of 16" x 12". Minor handling and condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
