World War II Insignia War Bond Poster Group of 6 (Walt Disney, c. 1940s). Set of six rare original Disney World War II Insignia/War Bond posters, all dry-mounted to boards. Each one states "One of Many Official Army Navy Insignia Designed by Walt Disney" and includes a "© Walt Disney" in the bottom right corner. Non-Disney characters are used. The six represented are "Skiing Penguin" (Ninth Naval District U. S. Naval Aviation Base), "Boxing Bull Dog" (62nd Pursuit Squadron), "Flying Squirrel" (Aviation Cadets U. S. Naval Aviation Station), "Policeman Woodpecker" (56th Pursuit Squadron [Int.] G.H.Q.), "Cardinal Lookout" (108th Observation Squadron), and "Boxing Turtle on Skates" (Anti-Tank Co.). Each mounted poster is approximately 14" x 14.25. Minor handling and water stains (particularly on the Boxing Turtle, which is in Fair condition with some minor paper loss), otherwise just standard aging. Overall Very Good condition except as noted.
