    Description

    Toy Story 2 Buzz and Woody Poster with Sketch by John Lasseter (Pixar/Walt Disney, 2000). The follow-up to 1995's Toy Story has been noted as one of the few times a sequel has outshined the original. Begun as a Direct-to-Video film, the initial results were so promising that director John Lasseter and his staff refashioned it into a theatrical release, one that often appears on lists of "Greatest Animated Films." Here's a 16" x 21.5" poster for Toy Story 2 that has been signed by John "Lassie" Lasseter and inscribed to Spike, "To Infinity and Beyond." It is dated June 8, 2000, signed at the 2000 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in Annecy, France. Best of all are two black marker sketches from Mr. Lasseter of Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody that adorn the upper corners. The poster has been framed with glass for an overall size of 18.5" x 25". Poster condition is Very Good, with a fold crease and minor sun fading. From the Spike and Mike Festival of Animation Archives.
