    Description

Disneyland "The Country Bear Jamboree" Park Entrance Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1970s). "It's the wildest show in the wilderness!" Marc Davis and Al Bertino were the driving forces behind "The Country Bear Jamboree" attraction. It first opened in Walt Disney World in Frontierland on 10/1/71. It proved so popular that it also opened in Bear Country in Disneyland on 3/4/71. It continued its run in Disneyland until 9/9/01. This is a very hard-to-find Park Entrance Poster that promotes this attraction in both Disney World and Disneyland. It was designed by Jim Michaelson, Eddie Martinez, and Disney Legend Inductee, Mr. Marc Davis. A similar version of this poster can be seen in the book Poster Art of Disney Parks by Danny Hanke and Vanessa Hunt. The poster measures 36" x 54". Minor handling and edge wear, with tears along right border in several places. Fair to Good condition.
