Description

Disneyland - Rainbow Caverns Park Entrance Linen-Backed Poster (Walt Disney, 1956). Return to the glowing beauty of Disneyland's Rainbow Caverns in this exceptional and enormous linen-backed Disneyland Park Entrance poster. Rainbow Caverns are located withing the Big Thunder Mountain Range in Arizona and got their names from the multi-colored geysers, ponds, and "22 magnificent waterfalls" inside, featured in the Rainbow Caverns Mine Train attraction, and Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland in the Living Desert section of Frontierland. The attraction closed to make room for the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but the Rainbow Caverns are set to return in a new incarnation in 2026 that is being added to the attraction. There is no better time to add this vintage poster to your collection, full of vibrant hand-pulled silk-screened colors and seen on page 57 of The Poster Art of the Disney Parks by Danny Handke and Vanessa Hunt. The rolled poster was originally designed by Bjorn Aronson and measures about 39'' x 58''. It is professionally linen-backed and in Very Good condition with light edge and handling and some surface wear.
