Disney World War II Propaganda Film Publicity Photo Print Group (Walt Disney, 1943). The Walt Disney Studio's wartime animated feature films, theatrical shorts, and training films are legendary to the World War II effort. This group of 105 extremely rare 8" x 10" glossy press/publicity photos of Disney World War II propaganda theatrical cartoon scenes shows how much the studio was putting into this effort in 1943. This lot has thirty-three photos from the Academy Award-winning Der Fuehrer's Face (twenty-four are from original storyboards while nine are images from the short), eighteen from Education for Death, six from Home Defense, five from Private Pluto, five from Fall Out-Fall In, six from Victory Vehicles, eleven from Emotion and Reason, four from The Old Army Game, and seventeen from Chicken Little. What a collection! Each 8" x 10" photo is glued to an 8" x 11" 2-peghole page that was stored in a binder. Great insight to the studio's war effort! Fine condition overall.
