    Description

Bambi "Learning to Talk" Limited Edition Lithograph Print #88/500 (Walt Disney, 1990). In 1990, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, both Disney Legend Inductees and two members of Walt Disney's legendary "Nine Old Men," wrote a book titled Walt Disney's Bambi - The Story and the Film. To promote this book, they did a joint tour of art galleries globally. They also jointly created new artwork and sold it with the book tour. These Fine Art lithograph suites sold out immediately, over 25 years ago. This lot is a hard-to-find Fine Art lithograph titled "Learning to Talk," featuring young Bambi and Thumper. It was created from new original artwork drawn by Mr. Frank Thomas, and part of Suite 1. It is hand-signed by Frank Thomas (1912 - 2004), printed on Ungei heavy paper with the chop mark of American Atelier. The piece was printed at American Atelier in New York under the supervision of the artist. The artwork is in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 20" x 17" with a mat opening of 12" x 9". Nice images of 2" and 5". A very adorable scene! Frame is sold as-is, print condition is Very Good.
