    Popeye Production Cel (Famous/Jack Kinney, c. 1950s-1960s).
    This is a rare black and white Popeye production cel believed to be from a television commercial. The piece shows a nice full-figure Popeye, Olive Oyl and Brutus measuring 3.5" and 4.5" tall. Popeye is in his all white uniform which he first began to wear during WWII. The production cel is hand-inked, hand-painted and paired with a copy/print of the background. The cel is in a 16.75" x 13.5" frame under Plexiglas with an opening of 12" x 8.75". The frame is sold as-is. This artwork is well over 60 years old and is in Very Good condition.
