Description
Pluto's Judgment Day Pluto Model Sheet Art (Walt Disney, 1935). When Mickey catches Pluto chasing a kitten, he scolds his dog, who later falls asleep and dreams that he is put on trial by a judge and jury of vindictive cats. This short was released on 8/31/35 and has some amazing animation sequences directed by David Hand. Fred Moore, Norm Ferguson, Ward Kimball, Dick Lundy, and Ham Luske were just some of the Disney Legends who animated this short. What a cast of talent! This is a rare original studio animator's model sheet of Pluto. It was done for Scene 11, which the sheet indicates was for the Fred Moore Unit. The seven graphite images of Pluto show a range of emotion and are all drawn on one page. Each image measures approximately 3.5" tall. It's framed with a mat opening of 9" x 11", in a 16" x 18" frame. While most model sheets are printed copies, this is original pencil artwork and not a print. Minor handling wear is evident; otherwise, condition is Very Good.Auction Info
