Plane Daffy Hitler, Göring and Goebbels Production Cel Setup (Warner Brothers, 1944). "Hitler is a Stinker!" The great Frank Tashlin directed this WWII cartoon, featuring self-proclaimed woman-hater Daffy Duck as the agent sent to undo Nazi spy Hatta Mari. This is an absolutely astonishing find from this Warner Brothers wartime classic. It is an original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel setup of the leader of the Third Reich, Adolph Hitler and his two top henchmen Hermann Göring and Joseph Goebbels from the 6:25 mark in this historic Looney Tunes theatrical short. Production art from vintage Warner Brothers cartoons is nearly impossible to find and given the sentiment at the time, it's almost inconceivable that a production setup of these characters would even exist today. The 12 field 2-cel setup is sealed in a 13" x 10" mat with an opening of 9" x 7". Condition is Very Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
