Pinocchio Underwater Pinocchio Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1940). "Gee, what a big place!" says Pinocchio after he ties a rock to his donkey tail so he won't float up, and jumps into the ocean with Jiminy Cricket to search for his father, Geppetto. This an original hand-inked, hand-painted Courvoisier production cel setup of Pinocchio underwater, playing with the friendly sea horses. An adorable image, with a great facial expression and nice figure size of 6". Hand-inked bubble special effects cels are in the setup. Cels are on a Courvoisier hand-painted background. The setup is in an original frame and thin-line script-written mat; the original Courvoisier sticker is on the reverse. This piece was originally sold at "Kennedy and Company" Art Gallery at 785 5th Avenue in New York City. Framed with glass for an overall size of 14" x 15.5", with an oval mat cut measuring 8". Trimmed-to-image cels have slipped within the frame. Minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
