Pinocchio Stromboli's Wagon Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1940). "I'll forgive you this once! But remember, a boy who won't be good just as well be made of wood!" says the Blue Fairy to Pinocchio after she shrinks his nose and gives him a second chance at the bequest of Jiminy Cricket. They jump out of the back of Stromboli's wagon and escape, looking back at the wagon while leaving in the distance. This an extremely attractive concept painting of Stromboli's Wagon in the distance of this scene. At one time, it looks like drawings of Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket were cut out and mounted to this gouache painting. Their outlines are still there, leaving a somewhat ghostly appearance to the art. Beautiful concept artwork for this masterpiece of a film! Framed with Plexiglas; matted with an opening size of 11" x 9", overall frame size is 21" x 19". Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
