    Description

Pinocchio Rare Pinocchio as a Wooden Puppet Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). "My little woodenhead!" sings Geppetto as he dances his newest creation around the room, in this original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing. Although we have seen a number of original 1940 Pinocchio character drawings here at Heritage, this is something we rarely ever see – "Pinoke" from the beginning of the film as a lifeless puppet, before the Blue Fairy does her magic and brings him to life. You can find this exact image at the 8:11 mark when watching on Disney+. The art is in graphite with red, green, yellow, and orange pencil highlights. Overall image size is approximately 5" x 6". The drawing has extensive animator's notations, and is marked as 72 in the lower right corner, below the studio production stamp. The drawing is matted with an opening of 11.75" x 9.5", and is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 21.5" x 21.5" x 1". Frame is sold as-is. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
