Pinocchio Jiminy Cricket Stamp Illustration (Walt Disney, 1940). In Belgium, a detailed sticker book came out in conjunction with a chocolate and cookie product. Each wrapped package included a Pinocchio stamp. The album you would put these into was called "De Beukelaer's Album." It has places for 125 stamps. This is the rare original artwork for one of these stamps, done by the Walt Disney Studios. It's a great image of Jiminy Cricket with his "Conscience Officielle" badge. Art is in gouache and ink on light board measuring 5" x 3.5", with superb detail and color. The image size is 3.5". This miniature painting is one of the rarest and most unique pieces of Disney Studio Pinocchio artwork we have seen. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
