    Pinocchio Cleo Character Concept Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). The most affectionate little Goldfish there ever was is the star of this fantastic character concept drawing from Disney's Pinocchio. Here is an original early concept drawing of Cleo as she jumps though Geppetto's fingers. This little flirt was so popular with audiences that she and Figaro were given there own theatrical short and followed it with cameo appearances in Fun and Fancy Free and The Little Mermaid. The adorable image rendered in graphite with red pencil highlights in her cheeks measures 6" x 3" on 12 field 3 peghole paper. It is an incomparable drawing of this lovely little fish in full-figure with eyes directed at the viewer. Cleo is an extremely rare character, particularly in drawings. Very light handling and condition of this 80-year-old piece is Very Good.
