Pinocchio Blue Fairy and Pinocchio Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1940). "Am I a real boy?" asks Pinocchio to the Blue Fairy who replies, "No Pinocchio, to make Geppetto's wish come true is entirely up to you. Prove yourself brave, truthful and unselfish and someday you will be a real boy." The piece in this lot is from the very first time we see the Blue Fairy. We will go on to see her at Stromboli's Wagon, and then in the film's finale. This pair of trimmed-to-image hand-inked and hand-painted production cels is one of the finest Blue Fairy and Pinocchio cel setups we have seen come to market. Terrific image of Pinocchio pointing to himself. Great large images of 5" and 7". The cels are on a print background for presentation purposes. The cel are in a frame of 21.5" x 19" under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 10" x 7.5". Frame is sold as-is, cels have minor handling. Overall Very Good condition.
