    Description

    Walt Disney Vintage Photograph by Tom Collins (c. 1932-33). Extremely Rare first edition photograph of a young Walt Disney, printed from the original negative. This iconic image is by photographer Tom Collins. He signed his signature in the negative and it is seen in bottom right corner. This image was used for the cover of Neal Gabler's 2006 book Walt Disney - The Triumph of the American Imagination (published by Alfred A. Knopf). The sepia-tone photo is an impressive 14" x 11". This iconic image of Walt Disney is hand-signed "To Pearl and Collie My Best Wishes Walt." The signature is from Walt Disney's hand and is in the block signature style he used in the early 1930s. A dust jacket from Mr. Gabler's book is included with the photo. Fine condition.
