    Description

Duck Pimples Donald Duck Publicity Photographs Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1945). Pair of rare original 1945 publicity photos for Duck Pimples, a Donald Duck cartoon written by Virgil Partch and Dick Shaw, directed by Jack Kinney, and released on 8/10/45. In this unusual short, Donald's cozy night at home (on a stormy night) turns into a wild dream about a crime novel concerning missing pearls coming to life -- with Donald as suspect #1! Donald is pictured with Police Detective Hennessey (and Colleen pulling a rabbit out of Hennessey's hat) in the first, and with Hennessey, Colleen (the mysterious femme fatale in search of her pearls), and J. Harold King (the "author" of the novel) in the second. Both 8" x 10" photo prints include a Disney stamp on the back, dated as MCMXLV (1945). Fine condition, with very little handling wear.
