Description
Philip DeGuard Double or Mutton Painted Background Animation Art (Warner Brothers Studios, 1955). This background is from the opening sequence of the cartoon and is seen just before Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog punch in for a day's work. This cartoon was their third appearance together, but was only the first time that their first names were ever used. "'Morning, Ralph." "'Morning, Sam." The lovely background was hand-painted in gouache on 12" x 10" Bristol board in a 2-peghole format. There are pinholes in the top margin. Marked as for "Scene 2 1342". Lightly toned and in Very Good condition.Auction Info
