DescriptionPets is Pets Raccoon Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1966). One of the Disney Studio projects that was never completed was an episode of The Wonderful World of Color called "Pets is Pets." The episode had been widely advertised, and was to feature Mickey Mouse and Pluto, with Professor Ludwig Von Drake as host. This is a rare original color model cel of a raccoon from the archives of Disney layout man Joe Hale that was prepared for the episode; approximate image size is 5" x 1.75". The cel is matted with an opening of 6.5" x 4.5", and framed using glass for an overall size of 10.5" x 8.5". Slight paint separation in the raccoon's face, with a tiny missing chip of light brown that is difficult to spot. Very Good condition.
