Peter Pan Wendy and Peter Production Cel on Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1953). "Come on, Wendy. I'll show you the mermaids." says Peter as the two fly off to the mermaid lagoon. This is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of the two characters holding hands in flight. The 4.5" x 3.5" image is on a 16 field cel with the number 55 in the lower right corner and it appears at the 32:14 mark in the film. It is presented over an original hand-painted production background from a minute earlier at the 31:12 mark as Peter chastises Tinker Bell for trying to kill Wendy. It's painted in gouache on 15.5 x 12.5 background board and is marked 2074 - 05.0 - 66.3 - 66.7. This is a fantastic Master setup from the last film to involve all of "Walt's Nine Old Men." Minor handling and condition is Very Good.
