    Description

Peter Pan Captain Hook Early Storyboard Original Art (Walt Disney, c. 1939-40). "Very well, you may proceed." This is an incredibly rare original storyboard drawing featuring Captain Hook and Tinker Bell created during the first pass of the making of Peter Pan before World War II forced the project to be shelved until the early 50s. Tinker Bell is a hard enough character to find, but this early depiction makes this piece especially rare. Rendered in conte on 8.25" x 8.75" animation paper, this image featuring an early design of captain hook is numbered 82, and shows minor handling, toning and edge wear with a tear in the upper left corner. The dialogue card is taped to the sheet, and there are several pinholes in the corners indicating use in the storyboarding process. The piece has five pegholes at the bottom, and the condition overall is Good.
