Peanuts You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown Snoopy as "Joe Cool" Signed Limited Edition Cel #95/250 (Bill Melendez, 1995). In this, the tenth Peanuts television special from 1972, Snoopy can't bear to not be part of the gang as they elect the next Student Body President. So, he becomes Joe Cool, always wearing a pair of sunglasses. Some disguise, we know, but hey, Peppermint Pattie never quite realized that the "funny-looking kid" was not a dog! This is great hand-painted limited-edition cel of this scene, with Joe Cool shoving candidate Linus as Schroeder takes a picture. With only a small run of 250 pieces, it's been sold out for over two decades! Director Bill Melendez (1916 – 2008) hand-signed the cel, which also includes a Peanuts Film Gallery seal. Figure sizes are 4.75", 2.75", and 5.5". Matted with an opening of 11.5" x 9", and framed with glass for an overall size of 22" x 19.75". Frame is sold as-is. A Peanuts Film Gallery Certificate of Authenticity is on back of the frame. Cel condition is Fine.
