Description

Peanuts The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show Production Cel Sequence and Animation Drawing Setup Group of 18 Items (Bill Melendez, 1983). Curse you, Red Baron! Original cels of Snoopy as the WWI Flying Ace are highly coveted by fans and collectors. So it is quite simply astounding that we have six matching sequenced setups in this one group! Each set includes three items, the hand-painted cel of the WWI Flying Ace (Snoopy) on his Sopwith Camel (doghouse), a hand-painted smoke effects layer, and the matching graphite and color pencil drawing of Snoopy. The sets are numbered A22, A23, A28, A33, A38, and A42. They form a sequence showing the WWI Flying Ace getting shot down by the Red Baron. Snoopy first appeared as the Ace in the Peanuts Sunday strip from 10-10-65. Snoopy and the doghouse measure approximately 7" tall in each frame. This is the best Flying Ace sequence we have ever come across! In Fine condition.
