Peanuts It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Snoopy as WWI Ace Production Cel (Bill Melendez, 1966). Snoopy, dressed as the World War I Ace, happily dances to the sounds of Schroeder playing "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" in this splendid original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel. Many fans consider It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown as director Bill Melendez's masterpiece among all the Peanuts TV specials. It still receives yearly showings each October. Snoopy as the WWI Ace is always a favorite, and here he is in a full-figure image of 2.25", kicking his heels in delight. The cel is marked S-99 (under the mat) and includes a Peanuts seal in the lower right corner. The print background has been added for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 10.75" x 8", and an overall mat size of 17" x 14". Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
