    Description

Peanuts It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Linus and Charlie Brown Storyboard/Concept Drawing Original Art (Bill Melendez, 1966). The year 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the third Charlie Brown/Peanuts TV Special that showcases Linus's love for "The Great Pumpkin," who he believes will visit his pumpkin patch on Halloween Night. Here is a rare original color key/storyboard concept drawing of Linus and Charlie Brown at the wall, discussing the night before. When Charlie Brown mentions that he only received rocks in his bag, thousands of fans sent candy to the network! The art, by longtime Peanuts animation artist Dean Spille, is in gouache and graphite on thin board measuring approximately 5" x 4", and is housed in a custom glass-front frame measuring 21" x 20". It's marked SC 134 in the lower right corner. Fine condition.
