Peanuts - It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt Production Cel (Bill Melendez, 1966/70s). "This time you can trust me. See, here's a signed document testifying that I promise not to pull it away" says Lucy to Charlie Brown, as she dupes him yet again. A popular running gag in the Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz since 1951, it became a staple of the animated specials as well. This is a 12 field hand-inked, hand-painted production 2-cel setup of Lucy and Charlie Brown from two football take-away scenes. Lucy's cel is from 1966 It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Charlie from another early televised special. Great full-figure images of 4" and 3" over a print background for presentation purposes. The piece shows minor handling; otherwise, condition is Very Good.

EDIT: Cel date corrected from 1964 to 1966.

EDIT: added "by Charles Schulz" after "Peanuts comic strip"
