Peanuts Charlie Brown's All-Stars Linus Color Model/Animation Drawing (Bill Melendez, 1966). "Hey, maybe we can make it up to him by making him a uniform" says Lucy Van Pelt. Her brother Linus replies, "That might pep him up, but we don't have any material." "Oh yes we do!" says Lucy, and our friend Linus has lost his treasured security blanket! This is a historic one-of-a-kind 12 field color model/animation drawing of Linus in his All-Stars hat, sucking his thumb with his beloved blanket. You can see this held cel around the 22:15 mark into the short. It is right before he loses his blanket for uniform material. Great graphite drawing on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, with a figure size of 6". This is only the second Charlie Brown and Peanuts TV special; it was released on 6/8/66. Artwork of this type from such an early Peanuts special is considered very rare. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
