Peanuts Bill Melendez – Charlie Brown with Linus, Snoopy and Woodstock Signed "Pumpkin" Drawing (Bill Melendez/Charles M. Schulz, c. 1980s-90s). Just about every cartoon fan in the 1960s (and for many years after, in annual repeat showings) watched and loved the classic Peanuts TV-Special, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Halloween just wouldn't be the same without seeing this great special, directed by Bill Melendez (1916 – 2008). For those fans who can't get enough, here's something extra-special: an original drawing of Charlie Brown holding a large pumpkin, with a cheering Linus (whose belief in the Great Pumpkin cannot be shaken). Of course, there has to be an appearance by everyone's favorite cartoon beagle, Snoopy, and his little pal Woodstock, too. Wow! The art is in ink, color marker, and crayon, with an overall image area of 9" x 4.25". Mr. Melendez hand-signed the art in graphite below the image. Matted with an opening of 11" x 8.5", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 20.75" x 18.25" x 1.25". Frame is sold as-is. Art is in Fine condition.
