    Description

Patriotic Pooches Painted Production Backgrounds Group of 2 (Terrytoons, 1943). Pair of hand-painted production backgrounds from this presumed-lost World War II cartoon, directed by Connie Rasinski. The storyline involved a puppy who wanted to do his bit for his country; release date was 4/9/43. The backgrounds are noted as 5+5B (interior of home with floor model radio to the left) and 9 (attractive exterior scene of white picket fence and trees). Both are painted in gouache on 12 field 3-top peghole light board, with studio stamps on the reverse sides. Very Good overall condition, with minor tape residue in bottom corners.
