The Snow Man Painted Production Background Group of 2 (Terrytoons, 1940). Pair of original hand-painted production backgrounds from the short about a snow man who comes to life, to the delight of three young rabbit children. The first shows a frozen lake with a hole in the ice and splashed water; this occurs at about 2:55, when the Snow Man crawls out. It's marked 20 in the upper right corner. The second painting is from 4:52, from the scene where the rabbits are being chased by the wolf. This is noted as 39 in the upper right. The art is in watercolor/gouache on light boards with top pegholes; the boards measure 13" x 9.75". There are two old glue stains on the second (the "holes" the rabbits pop out of are missing), and there is minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
