The Flintstones Painted Production Background and Publicity Cel Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). Outstanding and extremely rare hand-painted 12 field production background of the inside of the Flintstone's home. The great sponge painting background showcases bright prehistoric window shades with a dining room table and chair. This is from the fifth season episode "The Gruesomes," which featured the first appearance of this creepy family (Weirdly, Creepella, Goblin aka Gobby, and Uncle Ghostly). The episode premiered on 11/12/64. The background has a great hand-inked hand-painted studio publicity cel of Fred and Wilma, from the same time period. This was most likely a studio setup created as a gift. Great images of Fred and Wilma measuring 6". Cel is slightly stuck to the background. Flintstones background setups like this from the 1960s are very rare. Some slight separation in Fred's hair, otherwise Fine condition.
