Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Bedroom Production Background (Walt Disney, 1937). "Now don't tell me who you are, let me guess?" says Snow White to the seven dwarfs when she wakes up and sees them all around her. This is a trimmed hand-painted pre-production/production background of the dwarfs' beds. Doc and Grumpy's names can be seen on two of the five beds showing. The painting is attributed to Samuel Armstrong. It is hard to determine if this is screen used due to trimming. Background art is trimmed to 11" x 9". A photocopy of this exact background's detailed graphite layout drawing is included. When Doc and Grumpy speak, portions of this may have been used. Staple marks in top border from a production cover notes sheet. The art is painted with gouache on background board. Minor handling and top border staple holes. In Very Good condition.
