    Description

Pinocchio Geppetto Production Cel with Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1940). Geppetto stands framed against the firelight of his wrecked boat in the belly of Monstro the Whale. This is an original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Pinocchio's Papa. The 5" tall full-body image has been trimmed and applied to a new acetate pan cel. The cel is over an original pan production watercolor background that measures approximately 12" x 24" and features studio stamps and OK's on the back. This is an absolutely remarkable Master setup from Disney's second animated feature. The cel has a small dent in it a few inches to the right of Geppetto and there has been minor restoration. The piece is in a 15.5" x 27" mat with an opening of 10.5" x 22". Very Good condition.
