    Description

Patriotic Pooches Painted Production Backgrounds Group of 2 (Terrytoons, 1943). Pair of hand-painted production backgrounds from this presumed-lost World War II cartoon, directed by Connie Rasinski. The storyline involved a puppy who wanted to do his bit for his country; release date was 4/9/43. The backgrounds, featuring a wheelchair and noted as RC 10 in the upper right corner; and a weight scale, noted as 12 in the upper right, are both painted in gouache on 12 field 3-top peghole light board, with studio stamps on the reverse sides. Very Good overall condition, with minor edge wear.
