    Description

    Muppet Babies Background Color Key Paintings Group of 2 (Marvel, 1984). Here's a pair of exceptionally nice original hand-painted background Color Keys from this much-loved Jim Henson animated series. Each song-filled episode had the babies off on some adventure, fueled by their vivid imaginations. First up, an incredibly detailed deep forest scene, with two painted acetate overlays; overall image size is 11" x 8". The top margin is marked "Forest Changes to Rowlf's Forest." The second piece is noted as "Swamp" and features a beautiful array of moss-covered trees next to a pool of water. Image size is 10.5" x 7.25". Both paintings are in gouache on illustration board, measuring 11" x 10" and 10.5" x 10". Minor handling wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
