Bambi Meadow Pan Production Background (Walt Disney, 1942). "Mother, what we gonna do today?" asks Bambi. His mother replies, "I'm going to take you to the meadow." This is an absolutely amazing trimmed pan production background of the meadow Bambi visits with his mother for the first time. What a masterpiece of a painting it is! This comes from Sequence 4.1/Scene 3, measuring a stunning 32.5" x 11". Backgrounds for this film were painted by Tyrus Wong along with Merle T. Cox, Art Riley, Robert McIntosh, Stan Spohn, Ray Huffine, Ed Levitt, and Joe Stahley. This piece was at one time used in a Disney Fine Art Exhibit, with recreated cels placed on this production background. The waterfall in the meadow was painted in for the exhibit. This is one of the most breathtaking backgrounds from Bambi we have ever seen, and it showcases the Art Direction of this entire film. Minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
